Notes to Applicants
Applications for the loan of a musical instrument may be made at any time.
The Denne Gilkes Memorial Fund is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and preference will be given to local applicants.
Two letters of reference must be supplied, without which applications cannot be considered.
In addition to comments on the applicant’s current standard and ability, it would be most helpful to receive an indication of the applicant’s potential from the referees.
Recipients of instruments are awarded the loan for a period of a year and are required to pay a fee to cover the cost of the Fund's insurance on the instrument.
